Music at St. Dunstan’s presents: Diane Keller Organ Recital, “The Romantics meet the New Age”
September 23 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm$20
Hear two contrasting pieces from composers of the Italian and French Romantic and contemporary composers from Norway and England. From quirky scherzos and dramatic toccatas, to a little New Age organ music and the Beatles. A reception with the artist will follow.
A native of Tucson, AZ, Diane Pratt Keller holds Bachelor and Master of Music degrees in Organ Performance and Pedagogy from Brigham Young University.
She is currently Organist at First United Methodist Church of Palo Alto and staff accompanist for the Los Altos High School Choral Department. She previously served as a Guest Organist at the Salt Lake Tabernacle from 1994-2012. She has taught preschool, primary grade music classes, as well as private and group piano lessons at The Music School in Sunnyvale. She has also taught group organ classes and at summer organ workshops at BYU. She currently teaches private lessons, both piano and organ, at her home in Sunnyvale.
As an active member of the American Guild of Organists she has served on the board of the San Jose Chapter for many years including serving as Dean from 2011-2013. She currently serves as Sub-Dean.
She and her husband are the parents of three children.
