Our Life as a Community of Faith Is Centered In Worship

About Our Worship Services
We welcome you to all of our worship services and want you to feel comfortable worshiping with us. If this is your first visit, we know it’s not always easy, so just be yourself. You don’t have to dress up (although some of us do), and we promise not to make you stand and introduce yourself!
The Book of Common Prayer is the liturgical basis for our worship services and our Sunday Bulletins have the service outline printed making it easier to follow. And if anything is unclear, the person sitting next to you will be glad to help out
The Holy Communion service, instituted by Jesus Christ at the last supper includes receiving the bread and wine (we do not use grape juice), representing the body and blood of Jesus Christ. All Baptized Christians are invited to receive Holy Communion at the altar rail either kneeling or standing. If you want only a blessing , kneel or stand at the altar rail and cross your arms across your chest.
The Lord’s Table
“This is the table, not of the Church, but of the Lord.
It is to be made ready for those who love him and who want to love him more.
So, Come, you who have much faith, and you who have little,
you who have been here often; you who have not been for a long time,
you who have tried to follow and you who have failed.
Come, not because it is we who invite you: it is our Lord.
It is His will that those who want Him should meet him here”
