Groundbreaking For The Learning Center and Youth Room

June 7th, 2010, marked an exciting new beginning for Saint Dunstan’s Church and School with the official groundbreaking for the new Kraemer Wing Learning Center and the Youth Room, 2 major additions to Weaver House, the Saint Dunstan’s School building. In addition, needed remodeling of interior spaces will upgrade the school’s teaching and administration facilities.  Fr. Rob led those present in prayers for the safety of the workers and the success of the project.

The 2 room Kraemer Wing will house the Church’s Godly Play/ Sunday School room and the school’s multi-purpose room.  The youth room will provide our young people with a meeting room of their own.  These additions will double the school’s space from 3500 to 7000 square feet.  Saint Dunstan’s School was founded in 1997.

The Learning Center Site Committee, charged by the Vestry with guiding this huge project to completion by fall, consists of Jim Dunn, Rodger Langland, Tom Masters, Dick Merrill and Elizabeth Buche, School Director.  Dick Merrill was asked by the Vestry to direct the important capital fund raising campaign.
