Rolled Prayer Shawls

The Men, Women and children in the Prayer Shawl Ministry meet to knit and crochet prayers of love and care into shawls which are given to those who need to be “wrapped in the arms of God”: someone who is grieving, lonely or depressed, someone undergoing a medical procedure, someone getting married, having a baby, etc.  Each shawl is a unique, colorful and loving creation of the knitter and is blessed at the altar rail during a worship service.
