Communications Team : Ollie White
This team
facilitates communicating the mission and programs of Saint Dunstan’s
Church to members of the parish and to the local and regional community
through in-house publications, brochures, website maintenance, newspaper
and magazine advertising, etc. It maintains a photo library and enjoys
letting creative juices flow promoting Saint Dunstan’s at specific
projects: 50th Anniversary Celebration, Carmel Valley
Fiesta, Lobster Feast, etc.
The Communications
Team is composed of “generalists”, but needs “specialists” to volunteer
for a variety of very important jobs.
Newshounds/writers: collect timely information from
teams and committees and assemble it in written form for use in St.
Dunstan’s print publications: The Tongs (monthly), Newsletter (weekly),
Sunday Bulletin insert (weekly), brochures and special event programs,
as well as for ads and articles in newspapers and magazines. Also,
collect “human interest” information about the amazing folks who make up
this parish and submit the written articles for publication.
Photogrqapher: photograph
(using a digital camera) the spiritual and social activities of this
parish creating a visual record of the history and mission of this
parish
Webmaster Liaison: collaborate with the Web Manager of our website, www.saintdunstandchurch.org, to insure the information presented is
interesting, accurate, and timely.
