Our Church Organ

Our organ, with more than 1,000 pipes, was built by Dobson Pipe Organ Builders, Ltd., of Lake City, Iowa. Installed in 2015, its curving casework of American white oak stands in contrast with the darker, angular church walls. Visually and aurally beautiful, Op. 94 was honored in the 2016 International Awards Program for Religious Art & Architecture, sponsored by the Interfaith Forum on Religion, Art & Architecture.

The organ’s stoplist is inspired by 19th-century choir organs found in the chancels of the larger French churches and cathedrals, with warm principals and flutes along with bright reeds. The instrument excels in supporting the congregation and choir, while also providing plenty of variety for the many styles of music organists love to offer.
