I-HELP is an interfaith program organized to assist the unhoused in our community in securing food and housing at rotating locations during the month. The men's I-HELP comes to St. Dunstan's twice monthly and the women's I-HELP gathers here once a month. Volunteers help by donating food and preparing it in our kitchen and then join the participants in sharing the meal.
Nancy's Project is a non-profit organized to furnish food, clothing, and household essentials to Salinas Valley farm worker families. It was the brainchild of Nancy Costello, a St. Dunstan's parishioner, who in 1971 saw acute needs going unmet in this community. St Andre's School in Hinche, Haiti, is where the Great Commandment to love God and to love our neighbors as ourselves took root years ago and still flourishes.
